Unlock the shelf and restock sale cards
On PC, the Card Storage Shelf unlocks at shop level 20 and costs $2,000 through MY DIY; fill it with individual cards you are willing to sell. Give a worker the Restock Card job so they can use that stock to replenish reachable Card Tables.
Choose the right storage or selling fixture
Use the Card Storage Shelf when your goal is to keep saleable singles ready for employee restocking. Put empty delivery boxes in Empty Box Storage. For a storage-room layout, Shop Lot B provides expanded floor space for shelving and boxed inventory. Cards put in the Bulk Donation Box are distributed to customers for free.
| Option | Purpose and contents | Unlock or setup | Role in single-card sales |
|---|---|---|---|
| Card Storage Shelf | Stores individual sale cards; holds up to 10,000 singles. | Unlock at shop level 20 and buy through MY DIY for $2,000. | Supplies cards for worker replenishment of Card Tables. |
| Card Table | Provides retail slots for individual cards. | Keep the table reachable by the assigned worker. | Receives stored singles when a worker performs Restock Card. |
| Empty Box Storage | Holds up to 200 empty delivery boxes. | Unlock at level 9; costs $750. | Handles empty boxes rather than the sale-card stock used for replenishment. |
| Shop Lot B | Expanded floor space for shelving and boxed inventory. | Arrange shelving and boxed stock in the expanded space. | Provides room for a storage layout rather than replacing the Card Storage Shelf. |
| Bulk Donation Box | Distributes deposited cards to customers for free. | Unlock at level 18. | Use for cards you want to give away rather than offer for sale. |
Buy, place and fill the shelf
Sort your cards into copies you want to keep and copies you are happy to sell. Treat the shelf as working sales stock when deciding where each card belongs. Making that choice before filling it helps you avoid handing a favourite collection piece over for sale.
- Open MY DIY after reaching shop level 20 and buy the Card Storage Shelf for $2,000 to add dedicated storage for saleable singles.
- Place the shelf where employees can reach it, giving your restocking worker access to the cards you deposit.
- Fill the shelf with duplicates and other cards you have chosen to sell, keeping any collection pieces you want to retain outside this stock.
Assign Restock Card and review pricing
Restocking and card price-setting are separate worker tasks. A secondary task is used only when the primary assignment has no work ready. If Restock Card is secondary, a worker occupied by their primary job may leave retail slots waiting even while cards remain in storage.
- Assign a worker the Restock Card job so that replenishing individual-card retail slots is part of their work.
- Review that worker's task priority so you know whether card restocking can begin immediately or must wait for their primary task to have no work ready.
- Check the stock permission and pricing settings before entrusting valuable singles to staff, since moving cards and setting their prices are separate responsibilities.
- Keep the Card Table reachable as well as the shelf, giving the worker access to both the stored stock and its retail destination.
If cards stay in storage or get the wrong pricing
Start with stock and access if the employee does not refill a Card Table. Check that saleable cards are actually in the Card Storage Shelf and that staff can reach both fixtures. Then inspect the Restock Card assignment and whether another task is taking priority.
Look at pricing separately if the table is being refilled but the prices do not match what you wanted. Card price-setting has its own worker task, so assigning replenishment alone does not finish your pricing setup. Try the arrangement with cards you are comfortable selling before adding valuable collection pieces.
