Start affordable, then follow your collection gaps

Start with Basic packs for affordable early collection, progress through Rare, Epic and Legendary, then choose Destiny or Ascension when their sets match the cards you want. Keep packs sealed when you need dependable shop revenue, and open selectively for missing prints, deck cards, achievements or a rare-card chase.

02

Compare pack unlocks and license fees

The fees below are for the listed 32-pack licenses, rather than the price of replacement stock. Purchased products and shipping add to that expense. Before unlocking a family, leave enough cash to buy the packs you actually intend to stock or open.

Early collection: Basic through Legendary

Basic packs suit an early collection because they are available from the beginning and fit affordable collection and XP progression. Rare, Epic and Legendary become options as your shop develops. Use those unlocks to pursue the cards you want while keeping your opening budget manageable.

Treat a new unlock as another choice rather than an instruction to abandon your current collection goal. If an earlier family still matches the prints you want, keep that goal in view before paying for access elsewhere. Decide what a successful opening session would add to your collection before committing your cash.

04

Destiny and Ascension: choose the collection target

Destiny provides later progression options across Basic, Rare, Epic and Legendary packs. Higher-tier and later expansion packs suit players filling gaps in those specific collections. Match the family to your missing cards before comparing the cost of opening it with its current retail value.

Each pack contains seven cards, while Ascension adds 1,452 collectible artwork prints rather than a different playable roster. Its artwork features fully illustrated Tetramons and backgrounds. Choose Ascension when those prints are your collection goal, and budget for replacement packs and shipping as well as the license.

Ascension packs can also arrive as gifts from NPC-duel victories before their normal restock unlock. That gives you an earlier opportunity to open the family if a gift arrives. Keep gift access separate from your plan for purchasing a regular supply.

Choose what to open next

  1. Choose the purpose of your opening session, such as completing missing variants, building a deck, pursuing an achievement or seeking a rare card. This gives the pack a clear job beyond simply being available.
  2. Match that purpose to an available pack family. This directs your spending toward the collection you want instead of choosing solely by the latest unlock.
  3. Check the license expense alongside replacement-stock prices and shipping. This shows the purchase commitment before you spend money intended for saleable inventory.
  4. Compare the purchased pack's cost and current retail value with the cards you still need from its set. This makes the trade between a sealed sale and uncertain individual-card results clear.
  5. Reserve the money needed for your next shipment before assigning an opening budget. This protects ordinary shop revenue while leaving room for a deliberate collection purchase.
  6. Reassess your goal after opening rather than immediately repeating the purchase. This keeps the next decision tied to what you still want and what you are comfortable spending.

When selling sealed packs is the better choice

Sell unopened packs when your immediate goal is operating revenue and money for another shipment. Opening turns a saleable product into uncertain individual-card results. A collection goal can justify that choice, but keep it separate from the cash your shop needs to continue trading.

For resale decisions, start with the pack's purchase cost and current retail value. For collection decisions, start with the missing cards in its set. Open when that collection or chase objective is worth the uncertainty to you; otherwise, leave the pack available for a sealed sale.
