A God Pack is a rare whole-pack outcome
A God Pack is a special whole-pack print or finish outcome, with categories including First Edition, Silver, Gold, EX, Full Art, foil variants, Ghost and Foil Ghost. Pulling a valuable individual card, including a Ghost or foil card from an ordinary pack, is a separate kind of result.
Community God Pack odds by outcome
The table uses the unofficial community God Pack calculator's version-1.0 model for eligible packs. These are community-model figures rather than an official developer-published probability table. Each percentage describes a special whole-pack outcome, so keep the eligible-pack condition attached when using the figures.
| Outcome | Community-model chance per eligible pack |
|---|---|
| Any God Pack | 1.888% |
| First Edition God Pack | 0.501% |
| Silver God Pack | 0.311% |
| Gold God Pack | 0.251% |
| EX God Pack | 0.201% |
| Full Art God Pack | 0.071% |
| Foil Normal God Pack | 0.201% |
| Foil First Edition God Pack | 0.121% |
| Foil Silver God Pack | 0.100% |
| Foil Gold God Pack | 0.049% |
| Foil EX God Pack | 0.021% |
| Foil Full Art God Pack | 0.009% |
| Ghost God Pack | 0.051% |
| Foil Ghost God Pack | 0.001% |
Keep Ghost packs separate from individual Ghost cards
The Ghost and Foil Ghost entries describe God Pack outcomes. Their percentages are not the individual chance of finding a Ghost or foil card inside an ordinary pack. Apply the same distinction to the other foil entries before comparing results from your opening sessions.
Decide which result you are tracking before recording your pulls. If your goal is to count whole-pack God Pack hits, keep individual rare-card pulls in a separate tally. That gives you a consistent definition when reviewing a lucky session or a disappointing run.
An average does not set a deadline for a hit
The community model estimates approximately one God Pack per 53 eligible packs on average. It also gives an 85.13% chance of at least one God Pack after 100 eligible packs. Neither figure guarantees a hit within that amount of opening.
Treat the average as a way to understand rarity, rather than a schedule for your next result. Repeated ordinary packs can still fail to produce a rare whole-pack outcome. A short lucky or unlucky streak does not establish that the model has changed.
Avoid extending a session simply because you feel close to the average. Set the stopping point around what you are comfortable opening, then judge the session against that plan. This keeps a disappointing streak from becoming a reason to spend stock you intended to keep.
Plan a pack-opening session around the right odds
- Choose whether your goal is a whole-pack God Pack outcome or an individual card pull, so you use the matching definition of success.
- Read the appropriate whole-pack entry in the community table, keeping its eligible-pack scope attached to the percentage.
- Set aside an opening budget that does not depend on a rare result paying for the session, giving yourself a stopping point before the pulls begin.
- Open only the stock assigned to that session, keeping the amount you are willing to spend in view.
- Review the results without treating a short streak as proof of changed odds, keeping whole-pack hits separate from individual rare cards.
Keep rare pulls out of guaranteed income plans
Selling booster packs is part of the shop's ordinary business, while opening them lets you collect cards and choose whether to keep or sell rare finds. Decide how much sealed stock you want to retain for retail before committing packs to a chase. Treat any valuable result as something to evaluate after the opening, rather than income already available to spend.
Collection goals can justify an opening session without requiring it to fund the shop. Choose a budget you can accept even if the rare whole-pack result never appears during that session. The practical value of understanding the odds is being able to enjoy the chase while keeping your spending decision under control.
