Where you can play and who you can play with
TCG Card Shop Simulator is available for Windows PC through Steam and Xbox, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It is a single-player game: Tetramon battles and hosted tournaments use NPC customers, and there is no supported multiplayer or co-op mode for human friends.
Choose the right platform and storefront
- Where can I get the Windows PC game?
- The Windows PC game is available through Steam and Xbox. On Steam, TCG Card Shop Simulator is developed and published by OPNeon Games. Use the official product listing for the storefront where you want to play.
- Can I play on PlayStation?
- Yes. The official PlayStation storefront lists TCG Card Shop Simulator for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Open that product listing and check the edition for your console before purchasing.
- Which Nintendo Switch editions are available?
- Official Nintendo storefront listings are available for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Choose the listing that matches the console you intend to use. Check that platform's listing for its features and patch timing.
- What does the Xbox listing support?
- The Xbox listing covers Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It also lists Xbox Cloud Gaming availability and Xbox Play Anywhere capabilities. Consult that listing for the features of the Xbox edition.
- Should I expect every platform to have identical patch timing?
- Check the corresponding platform storefront for its current features and patch timing. Use the details for the edition you actually play when comparing update information. A PC mod should not be assumed to apply to a console edition.
Friends, co-op and Tetramon opponents
- How many human players can play together?
- The supported mode is single-player, for one human player. Steam and Xbox both list the game as single-player. There is no supported co-op session for sharing your shop with friends.
- Can I play Tetramon against a friend?
- No. Tetramon battles are currently built for playing against NPCs. In the official FAQ, OPNeon Games says there are no plans for multiplayer in the near future.
- Are player-hosted tournaments online multiplayer?
- No. Hosted tournaments are populated by NPC customers. You can enter a tournament you host and keep prizes according to your final ranking, but hosting does not establish online multiplayer support.
- Can I share a deck even without multiplayer?
- Yes. You can copy a deck's output list and send it to a friend. Battles remain against NPCs, so use deck sharing to exchange ideas about your lists.
- How do I start a Tetramon match in my shop?
- Approach a Play Table with a lone waiting customer and press RMB or the gamepad right face button. The rulebook and deck-editing tools are at the Workbench, which unlocks at shop level 7. Your shop continues operating during the match.
Controllers, saves and PC setup
- Does the Steam game support controllers?
- Yes. The Steam listing includes full controller support, plus DualShock and DualSense controller support. Check those features on the Steam product page when choosing your PC control setup.
- Does Steam Cloud let me use a console save on Steam?
- No. The developer says cross-save between consoles and Steam is unavailable. Steam Cloud and Save Anytime are listed Steam features, but they do not change that console-to-Steam limitation.
- Do returning players need a new save?
- No. The developer says saves from version 0.70 carry over and that you do not need to start a new save file. Continue your existing shop when returning from that version.
- What are the minimum Windows PC requirements?
- The Steam minimum requirements are Windows 10, 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-3550 processor and 8 GB RAM. Graphics requirements list an NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 and DirectX Version 11. You also need 5 GB of available storage.
