Buy, place and supply an Auto Scent machine

Buy an unlocked Auto Scent machine through MY DIY and place it near incoming customer traffic without blocking the doorway. Load it with Cleanser and switch it on; an employee assigned Refill Scent can replenish accessible machines from available stock.

Place machines along the entry route

  1. Buy an available Auto Scent machine through MY DIY so you can add automatic cleaning to the customer entry route.
  2. Position the machine near incoming customer traffic so entering customers pass through its effective coverage.
  3. Keep the doorway clear so the device does not obstruct customers entering your shop.
  4. Clear furniture from the machine's coverage and the employee refill route so both remain accessible.

Watch customers enter after you place the machine. Look for the route they actually take, then compare it with the area you intended the machine to cover. If you rearrange the entrance, repeat that observation before settling on the new layout.

Refill Cleanser and arrange staff support

  1. Load available Cleanser supplies into the placed machine so it has the stock needed to operate.
  2. Switch the machine on so the stocked device can begin treating passing customers.
  3. Assign an employee the Refill Scent task so accessible machines can be replenished from available stock.
  4. Check the machine's filled status before opening and during busy periods so an empty supply does not interrupt cleaning.

Refill Scent works well as a secondary assignment when you have only a few machines. The employee needs available Cleanser stock and access to the machines to replenish them. Keep checking filled status even after assigning the task, because a machine stops working when its supply runs out.

05

Check why dirty customers are getting through

  • Check machine power: a placed machine still needs to be switched on before it can work.
  • Check remaining Cleanser: an empty machine cannot continue cleaning, even if its position looks suitable.
  • Check the customer entry route: customers need to enter the machine's effective coverage rather than pass outside it.
  • Check nearby furniture and staff access: obstructions can interfere with coverage or the employee's refill route.

The Auto Scent M100 needs two sprays to clear a customer's odor. A lone M100 may therefore fail to finish treating every customer as they pass. Keep handheld Cleanser available for customers who escape automatic coverage.

Work through power, supply and placement before deciding that you need a different machine. Change the part of the setup that appears responsible, then watch the entrance again. Keep manual cleaning available while you check whether the adjustment helps.
